5-ACID BLENDED PEEL WITH GLUTATHIONE, VITAMINS AND MINERALS
IN-OFFICE CHEMICAL PEEL PROCEDURES PERFORMED BY MEDICALLY TRAINED PROFESSIONALS
The Perfect Peel is a revolutionary peel that will transform your skin into looking younger, healthier and clearer in just one week. The Perfect Peel can be used on all skin types and requires no pre-peel skin preparation. The process takes less than 15 minutes and is virtually pain free.
WITH GLUTATHIONE
The Perfect Peel founds itself on a key anti-aging ingredient never before used in a peel: Glutathione. Glutathione is the ultimate antioxidant, penetrating deep into the cellular level of the skin to fight oxidant damage and is the anti-aging answer to premature wrinkling. Our bodies naturally produce glutathione but as we age, our levels deplete due to sun exposure, air pollutants, environmental stress and the aging process itself. Glutathione is also proven to reverse melanin’s metabolism, lightening dark pigmentations.
The Perfect Peel blends glutathione, kojic acid, TCA, retinoic acid, salicylic acid, phenol, and a blend of minerals and vitamins, including vitamin C. Kojic acid is a powerful lightening agent and proven to increase collagen and elastin production, resulting in skin that is brighter and tighter. TCA, phenol and retinoic acid reduce wrinkles and correct pigment problems, while salicylic acid exfoliates the skin and reduces inflammation. Alone the ingredients are powerful, but in combination they produce results that are astonishing.
To follow The Perfect Peel, you are given an individual home treatment pack. This pack contains retinol wipes and a vitamin C moisturiser to assist the peeling process and enhance your results.

ABOUT OBAGI MEDICAL
Obagi Medical has been specifically formulated to transform the skin from within. Obagi Medical Products result in younger, healthier looking skin. The Obagi Medial Product range helps reduce the visible signs of ageing such as fine-lines, wrinkles, melasma (dark sports), hyper-pigmentation, laxity and uneven texture. Contained in the range there are also a number of products designed to treat adult acne.
Acne & Blemishes
What causes Acne?
Acne is a long-term skin condition generally associated with breakouts of Whiteheads, Pimples & Greasy Skin and in some severe cases can lead to scarring. Whilst acne is a treatable skin condition not all treatments are as successful as others.
Treatments for Acne
Obagi CLENZIderm M.D™ Systems are the only prescription based acne treatments that contain a patented, soluble form of 5% benzoyl peroxide (BPO) which being more easily absorbed by the skin, has been clinically proven to penetrate the follicles for effective reduction in both P. acnes bacteria and associated lesions.
Sun damage
Long term exposure to the sun without appropriate protection is possibly the largest contributor to the visible signs of ageing. Protecting your skin from the sun’s harmful rays can reduce the chance of sunburn, brown spots (sun spots) and faster skin ageing, whilst helping to protect against skin cancer.
The effects of too much sun
Protection from the sun’s UVA and UVB rays is important all year round, not just in the summer months. Extended exposure to the suns rays contributes to the ageing of the skin, with visible signs.
Sun damaged skin treatment
Obagi Sunscreens are formulated to prevent sunburn and protect your skin. Guarding against the damaging rays of the sun helps to prevent the visible signs of ageing, such as fine lines, wrinkles, dry skin, sun spots, sallowness and poor skin tone.
Dry Skin
Dry skin is probably one of the most common skin complaints and can result in redness, itching, flaking and cracked skin. There are numerous over the counter products available to treat small and large areas of dry skin. However, whilst they all work in similar ways, the results can vary.
Causes of Dry Skin
Dry skin can be a result of a wide range of environmental factors such as water quality, soaps and detergents, sun exposure, vitamin deficiencies or even some medication. Dry skin can appear to worsen during the winter months with a colder outside temperatures and warmer interiors contributing to drying out the skin.
Treatment for Dry Skin
Obagi Hydrate® Facial Moisturising products provide long lasting hydration. Obagi Hydrate® provides 8 hours of moisture and protection against dryness by using an innovative combination of shea butter, Mango Butter and avocado. Obagi Hydrate Luxe®, engineered with key biometric peptides, is an ultra-rich hydrator providing extra-strength hydration for the skin. It works overnight to nourish the skin during its daily repair cycle.
Signs Of Ageing
As your skin ages and is exposed to UVA & UVB rays, the rate at which new skin cells develop slows down. As a result, the balance of new skin cells versus old is changed. Additionally, collagen and elastin begin to break down causing the skin to loose resilience.
Causes of ageing skin
As skin ages, it develops visible signs of this ageing process; most commonly fine line, wrinkles, sagging and discolouration. Exposure of the skin to environmental stresses is inevitable, as are the associated signs.
Anti-ageing treatments
The Obagi Nu-Derm® System is the number 1 physician dispensed prescription strength skin care system. It works by penetrating down the surface of the skin to transform the function of the skin cells at a cellular level and correct the damage from within.

Intravenous Nutrient Therapy (IVNT) to Enhance Health & Wellness
Intravenous Nutrient Therapy (IVNT) is a method of delivering vitamins, minerals, and amino acids directly to the bloodstream. Strongly backed by medical and scientific studies, it is changing the way we heal patients.
How are the Intravenous Vitamins classified and manufactured?
Some of the most common questions we get asked are, what are your products made of? Are they safe for my clients?
The products we use are bio-technologically produced, they are all GMO, GLUTEN, HEXANE and SUGAR FREE. Our products are VEGAN friendly and contain NO TRACES OF ANIMAL. They are classified by the MHRA as Borderline Medicines and are used for Supplementation only and not to treat medical conditions, nor make any medical claims. Our product list consists of the following vitamins, amino acids and minerals: Magnesium Sulphate, Calcium Gluconate, Selenium, Zinc, Ascorbic Acid, Hydroxycobalamin, Methycobalamin, Adenosylcobalamin, B complex, Dexpanthenol (B5), Pyridoxine (B6), Arginine, Carnitine, Choline, Cysteine, Glycine, Lysin, Methionine, Ornithine, Phenylalanine, Taurine, Glutathione, ALA, NA-EDTA, Tryptophane, Proline, Phosphatidylcholine, Tricholine Citrate and 8 various all in one pre-mixed cocktail formulations.
Be confident knowing that our GMP manufactured vitamins are safe and insured for product liability in the UK
Is Intravenous Nutrition Therapy Safe?
Understandably, the first question most new clients ask, is "is it safe?". If you decide to offer IV Therapy at your clinic, here's what you need to know.
"The substances used in IVNT are Vitamins, Minerals, and Water, all of which are classified as 'Essential Nutrients'. It's an apt name, as they are ‘essential’ for life, however they are also nutrients that the body cannot synthesize on its own. Traditionally they were obtained from food we eat, but modern food is often modified and over processed, leaving many of us severely deficient in these essential nutrients.
By balancing our levels through IV infusions, under the expert advice of one of our healthcare physicians, our bodies can be restored to peak fitness and maximum energy performance."
CALM (MYERS COCKTAIL)
Also known as the Myers Cocktail, the CALM IV is a well-known and highly effective IV formulation for anxiety and relaxation. Consisting of high doses of B vitamins and magnesium, along with other nutrients, the calm IV can result in immediate relaxation, lowering of blood pressure, and easing of anxiety.
ANTIOX
The ANTIOX IV can consist of glutathione, alpha lipoic acid (ALA), or both, depending on what is best for each patient. Glutathione is one of the body’s most effective antioxidant and detoxifying substances, especially for the brain and liver. Glutathione is a naturally occurring antioxidant and dramatically improves the detoxification and rebuilding process in the body. Alpha lipoic acid is another extremely useful and powerful antioxidant that has been shown in medical studies to reverse nerve damage, and is also useful for treating liver problems including hepatitis. The combination of glutathione and alpha lipoic acid (infused separately) is an extremely powerful antioxidant and detoxification regimen.
IMMUNE
For anyone suffering from immune disorders or anyone just needing an immune boost we offer our IMMUNE IV. This IV consists of buffered vitamin C in very high doses. High-dose intravenous vitamin C is no longer antioxidant but in fact turns into a pro-oxidant against viruses, bacteria and other pathogens.
BOOST
A high dose vitamin C and multivitamin/mineral combination that is great for those who are worn down by stress or illness, or those just seeking to stay healthy and energized. The BOOST IV can be followed by the ANTIOX IV for even more antioxidant protection. Great for cold and flu season.
What is PROFHILO?
Profhilo is the first BDDE-free stabilised injectable hyaluronic acid (HA) based product for treating skin laxity.
With one of the highest concentrations of HA on the market (64mg / 2ml) it is not only boosting and hydrating the skin, but also remodels the ageing and sagging tissue.
Profhilo delivers great results as a treatment on its own or in combination with other aesthetics treatments currently on offer.
What are the benefits?
Profhilo can help to improve skin tone, texture, hydration and overall radiance. It can help to increase firmness and elasticity and promote healthier and softer looking, and feeling, skin. Any body area can be treated with Profhilo – from the crepey skin on your knees to your upper arms, décolletage and face.
Why should I have this treatment?
As we age and the production of the ‘scaffolding’ proteins of collagen and elastin within our skin starts to reduce, many people find that skin becomes lax and wrinkles appear more visible. The overall texture of our skin is also negatively affected by the physical ageing process, with many people complaining that their skin appears dull, dry and lacklustre.
Profhilo is designed to tackle these problems through effective skin bio-remodelling, and was awarded the Aesthetics Award for Product Innovation of the Year 2016 thanks to it’s revolutionary composition without chemical cross linking agents (BDDE) and as one of the most concentrated formulations of Hyaluronic Acid on the market.
HOW DOES PROFHILO WORK
As a stabilised product Profhilo lasts in the skin around 28 days. During this time the stimulation of 4 different types of collagen and elastin takes place by slow release of HA.
The stimulation results in significant tissue improvement. Therefore we cannot say that Profhilo is a skin booster as it also has a significant tightening / lifting effect on the tissue.
UNIQUE PRODUCT
There are many characteristics that make Profhilo unique from anything else available on the market right now. There is no BDDE content. It is thermally cross-linked generating stabilised hybrid co-operative complexes of H-HA and L-HA. Despite its high HA content, it has a low inflammatory profile coupled with pro-healing properties backed by clinical studies. To fully understand this new concept in anti-ageing medicine we have to take a look at the technology first.
ADVANTAGES
In Profhilo, L-HA is released slowly from the HA hybrid complexes and therefore does not trigger the first inflammatory cytokines making it very biocompatible. It also increas¬es patient comfort during and after treatment and provides hydration to the skin especially in the epidermis - the Hydro effect.
H-HA in Profhilo provides a stable HA architecture in the dermis. This gives a volumetric effect - the Lift effect.
Another advantage of the stable co-operative hybrid complex when compared to H-HA and L-HA is the increase in the ex¬pression levels of type I and type III collagen in fibroblast and type IV and VII collagen in keratinocytes.
This results in improved skin quality and skin hydration both in the dermis and epidermis. There is also increased production of endogenous HA and elastin giving the skin a more youthful look.
HIGHEST CONCENTRATION ON THE MARKET
Profhilo contains 32mg of low molecular weight HA (80-100Kda) and 32 mg of high molecular weight HA (1100-1400Kda). This gives one of the highest concentration of HA on the market totalling 64 mg of HA in a 2ml prefilled syringe. Remarkably this can still be extruded using a 29g needle.

What is Skin Boosters
Dermal fillers can temporarily restore lost volume, giving your skin a smoother and
younger appearance. Dermal fillers reduce wrinkles, correct creases, folds and scars.
They also add contour definition to the face and mouth. Dermal fillers use hyaluronic acid
(which is naturally found in the body) and the results can be seen for up to six to eighteen
months months after a treatment depending on product used, making this a
cost effective procedure.
Prior to treatment a topical anesthetic cream is applied, consent form is completed
and Photos are taken
It is common for the treated area to appear slightly red and swollen, discomfort, tenderness
after treatment. Very occasionally there may be slight bruising but ice packs can help with this.
This is the same as you would expect after any injection and is temporary and generally disappears
few days to two weeks after.
After care is given after treatment informing you what to expect and not to do. As a general rule,
avoid applying make-up over the treated area. You should also avoid hot baths, showers, saunas
and strenuous exercise, as well as alcohol, for four to six hours post treatment.
The results of dermal filler treatments are seen immediately, although it can take a day
or so for swelling to subside and the full results of your treatment to be seen are at
its best 2 weeks post treatment.
Depending on the product used and each client and their individual metabolism.
Generally, the results last for six- eighteen months on average.
Skin Boosters using Restylane Vital and Juvederm Hydrate are designed to restore hydration
in the skin, resulting in long lasting improvements in skin quality and condition. A series of
tiny injections, are given resulting in improved skin tone and skin elasticity. The skinbooster
treatments will hydrate the skin and are perfect for treating the face, hands, neck, décolletage
and lips where over exposure to the sun can cause premature ageing. Visible improvements to
the skin can be seen after an initial course of treatments resulting in healthy skin
with a beautiful glow.

What are the benefits of chemical skin peeling
How does it work
What happen during the procedure
What will I look like after the treatment
What should I do/Not do after the treatment
How many treatments do I need?
Chemical skin peels can be very effective at reducing the appearance of fine surface lines and wrinkles,
blemishes, pigment problems and acne scarring, they help to improve the appearance and texture of your skin.
They can help reduce the ageing effects of smoking and sun exposure, giving your skin
a more youthful, healthy glow.
A chemical skin peel works by removing old, dead skin cells at the surface of the skin to
promote new cell growth. Chemical peels can be used to treat a particular area
(such as lines around the eyes or mouth) or all over the face, arms, hands and neck.
There are three types of chemical skin peel: superficial chemical peel, medium chemical peel,
or deep chemical peel. For optimum results homecare
products can be recommended to prep your skin pre and post peel.
For best results depending on the condition of the skin you may be advised to prepare the skin
2 weeks prior to your chemical peel. The procedure only takes about 10 to 20 minutes.
During this time, you may experience anything from a mild tingling to a warming of the skin
as the peel is applied; the peel is then neutralized depending on which peel is used and
appropriate skin care and sun block is applied.
Following your treatment it is expected to look slightly pink/red, you will be able to resume
your day-to-day activities.
You will be able to return to your normal activities straight away. You should avoid sun exposure
and effective sun protection needs to be applied. Depending on the type of peel applied strength,
and the number of coats will depend on if you will have much flaking or peeling of the skin,
this will be discussed in your initial consultation.
For the best results, we recommend a course of four- six treatments, spaced out at weekly –
four-weekly intervals depending on the peel and condition of the skin. Some patients may
require more treatments as every treatment plan is different.
The Perfect Peel is a medium to deep peel depending if a booster is used and some clients may
only need one of these depending on the condition of the skin.
Wrinkles result from a combination of many factors. It’s not just about cellular changes that
can occur over time, reduction of collagen, or damage caused by free radicals
in the sun and the environment.
Skin peels are:
Exfoliating the dead skin (stratum corneum)
Increase luminosity
Smoothing and keeping pores open
Increase cell turnover
Evens out pigments
Improve elastic fibres
Increase dermal thickness
Plump, firm and reduce wrinkles
A chemical peel is a technique used to improve and smooth the texture of the skin. Facial skin is mostly treated but the body and scarring can be improved as well. Chemical peels are intended to remove the outermost layers of the skin. To accomplish this task, the chosen peel solution induces a controlled injury to the skin. Resulting wound healing processes begin to regenerate new tissues. The dead skin eventually peels off.The regenerated skin is usually smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin.

The treatment works on the depressions that run from the nose and around the under-eye area which becomes more noticeable as the skin sags and becomes thinner with age. As we age, fat can accumulate under the eyes which then creates what is commonly known as “eye bags”. While the surgical removal of eye bags gets rid of the fatty tissue, it doesn’t conceal the dark circles. The tear trough dermal filler treatment will not only improve the depression, it will also help to thicken the skin resulting in the reduction of the visible dark blood vessel colour. The treatment therefore benefits in the correction of the dark circles or panda eyes as well as the depression ( tear trough) and eye bags.
Who is suitable for the tear trough treatment?
Anyone who has:
Tear trough
Sunken eyes
Dark circles around the eye area
Tired looking eyes
Eye bags
During your free medical consultation, the expert tear trough specialist will examine and determine that you are a suitable candidate for the treatment. We will then explain the details of the treatment, complications, after care and answer all questions you may have. At this stage we can then confirm the pricing once we know how much product is required.

The technique is ideal for anybody who is struggling with dark shadows, hollows or ‘bags’ beneath the eyes.
They may find that they look tired all the time, even when well-rested.
Long-lasting Juvederm Volbella, hyaluronic acid facial fillers that are made using a new technology which enables it to retain its shape and position for much longer, but is also easily reversible with another injection to dissolve it- giving unparralled effectiveness, longevity and safety.
Yes, if required the filler can be dissolved with another injection. This very rarely happens, but it good to know for those cautious about having treatment.
Results of tear trough treatment can last from 1-2 years, depending on the patient. When results fade with time, treatment can be repeated and indeed adjusted to suit the patient.
We will always provide a consultation before treatment. Unlike many of our competitors, we offer this consultation free of charge to enable patients to fully discuss and understand their treatment without having any financial commitment.
We specialises only in Botox and dermal filler injectable procedures. The tear trough under-eye hollows procedures is an advanced procedure are specifically trained in the very latest techniques. It's important to all patients that only experienced clinicians carry out procedures around the eye and this is where UniSkin can assure you of a high-degree of experience and expertise.
Some people may not be suitable for this procedure and alternative treatments may be required. Patients who have fat deposits or excess saggy skin beneath the eye may not be suitable. Booking a free consultation though is the best way to find out for sure the treatment which is most suitable for you.
Some bruising and redness is common after this kind of dermal filler treatment of the tear trough, but typically resolves within a week. Patients should bear this in mind if they have an important event or holiday coming up.
Using Juvederm Volbella treatment results can last from 9 months but for some patients results last well over a year and possibly up to 2 years. Lifestyle (e.g. smoking, exercise and alcohol) and skin type both play their role in how long your results with last.
Carboxytherapy UniSkin
Capture
Carboxytherapy
Carboxy Treatment
Carboxy Belper
Carboxytheraphy
Carboxytherapy is a non-surgical cosmetic medical treatment.
Carboxytherapy employs injections to infuse gaseous carbon dioxide below the skin into the subcutaneous tissue through a needle.
FDA approve
Carbon dioxide, the invisible, odourless gas that is part of the air we breathe, is injected just under the surface of the skin using a fine needle. According to many studies, it diffuses into the surrounding tissues and causes blood vessels to dilate.
Wider vessels mean a stronger blood supply, which brings a rush of oxygen and nutrients to the treated area.
Evidence shows the carbon dioxide kills fat cells by causing them to distend, the extra oxygen eliminates fluid build-up between cells, and the skin is stimulated to produce more collagen.
Carboxytherapy, also referred to as carbon dioxide therapy or CDT is becoming more widely used within UK aesthetic clinics. The therapeutic and medical use of carbon dioxide has now been used by the medical community in Europe since the 1950s. The most common aesthetic indications for treatment with carboxytherapy are for cellulite and localised fat reduction, stretch marks (striae), acne scars, skin laxity and wrinkle reduction. Treatments are generally performed on the face, neck, arms, abdomen and thighs. Carboxytherapy uses a series of small injections with a thin needle attached to a tube which delivers tiny quantities of medical grade carbon dioxide below the skin’s surface in a controlled flow and dose via a specially designed machine. Depending on the area being treated, you should expect to pay approximately £75 per session of carboxytherapy, with reduced fee packages available.
How long till I see the results of Carboxy Therapy? You should notice a difference after one treatment, but a course of between four and six is recommended. Each treatment takes 40 minutes. If the stretch marks are recent they should be treated once a week for five or six appointments; if they have been there for a while, once a month for five or six treatments.
What areas can be treated? Carboxytherapy is ideally suited to the treatment of stretch marks (striae), cellulite, localised fat, skin laxity, wrinkle reduction and dark circles around the eyes. It is safe to perform on any area of the body but most commonly used on the abdomen, face, neck, arms, thighs and bottom. More recently, we have been having a great deal of success using carboxytherapy for alopecia and hair restoration.

The conditions treated by carboxytherapy include many that are also treated by mesotherapy. This is beneficial to you, as you may prefer the idea of one of the procedures, therefore there is an increased number options available to you in order to achieve the desired results.
The issues that are most commonly resolved using carboxytherapy are:
Reducing the amount of fat in a localised area (this can be done independently or in conjunction with liposuction).
Hair loss (alopecia).
Reduce the appearance of stretch marks.
Medical conditions such as skin ulcers, diabetes-related artery conditions or erectile dysfunction.
Improving the appearance of cellulite
Eliminating scars that have results from acne.
Reducing the appearance of wrinkles.
The carboxytherapy treatment
Similarly with mesotherapy, the carboxytherapy procedure is rapid, effective and requires no downtime. The carbon dioxide gas is used to encourage the blood flow through the skin. This has a number of different effects including increasing skin tone, improving the appearance of cellulite and removing fat in a specific area.
The carboxytherapy procedure has two difference processes of working. Firstly, it acts by making fat cells more delicate and prone to breaking by a method known as ‘pressure traumatism’. Secondly, the carbon dioxide stimulates the blood vessels to relax and dilate in the localised area into which it has been injected. This increases the amount of oxygen that can reach the skin as well as increasing the amount of fat reduction that can potentially occur.
This procedure is generally considered beneficial for those who wish to achieve some of the benefits of liposuction but without undergoing invasive surgery. The general results obtained from carboxytherapy are a reduced number of fat cells as well as a more toned skin appearance.
Carboxytherapy is used for the treatment of cellulite and fat reduction. Carboxytherapy works as follows; it improves circulation at the injection site by forcing red bloods cells to release oxygen and pick up C02 to be eliminated by the body. This process of oxygenating the area of concern allows for improved healing by nourishing the skin, in turn building and remodelling collagen and elastin in the area which ultimately smooths out cellulite. This is a natural reponse from the body. The process leaves the skin tighter, brighter and smoother. This treatment works well with the application of the SpaRF as it heats the subdermal layers of the skin, mechanically smoothing out cellulite as well.
Fat cells are very sensitive to C02 gas. The process weakens and fat cells for body contouring. This treatment is often combined with B12 injections and cellulite treatment for fat reduction.
Carboxytherapy is a completely natural treatment that can work synergistically together with the treatment regimen against hair loss.
This therapy acts directly in the bulb, which constitutes the vital part of the hair and its alterations are a major cause of hair thinning and hair loss. During treatment, infusions are applied at those areas of the scalp where hair thinning is observed. The aim is to enhance oxygenation and therefore nutrition of the weak hair follicles.
This method of treatment takes advantage of a completely natural process of our organism: the use of oxygen to expel carbon dioxide. At the areas of infusion microcirculation gets significantly improved as the red blood cells are forced to release oxygen in order to “capture” the CO2 molecules and expel them from the body. This enhanced blood flow and tissue oxygenation allows skin regeneration and the strengthening of hair follicles.
At the same time treatment has vasodilatory effect (i.e. the opening of tiny blood vessels), which allows the enhancement of the scalp’s nutrition with valuable vitamins and nutrients. This ensures the cessation of hair loss, stabilisation of hair thinning and the stimulation of hair growth.
At the same time the composition of hyalouronic acid is enhanced, , a natural ingredient of the skin, which is produced by the fibroblasts and contributes to tissue hydration and full absorption of growth factors.
Treatment is completed quickly and painlessly. It is usually applied in combination with Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT), autologous Mesotherapy with growth factors (PRP) or infusions of minoxidil. In general four to twelve treatment sessions are necessary, depending on the nature and the extent of the problem, while in many cases a number of repeated sessions may be necessary to consolidate the results of treatment. Usually 3 months have to pass by for hair loss to stop and for hair thinning to become stable, while vellus and weak hair become stronger after 6 months. In any case, the effectiveness of treatment is evident through trichoscopy (digital editing), which provides the most objective assessment criterion for each patient’s progress.
Carboxytherapy was born in France, more than 80 years ago. Its beneficial effects were initially observed in the royal spas, when it was found that patients who bathed in the thermal waters that were rich in carbon dioxide showed quicker wound healing. Since then it has been proven that carboxytherapy can improve blood circulation, enhance the skin’s elasticity, and smooth the wrinkles.
As a result, this treatment method is gaining ground constantly in the field of dermatology, since the range of applications covers both medical and cosmetic needs of the skin and hair. Nowadays it is used in Europe and in the USA for the treatment of stretch marks, cellulite, hypertrophic scars, wrinkles, dark circles, and alopecia.
TREATMENT OF HAIR LOSS
When hair loss starts, self-confidence is affected dramatically. This is why it is of imperative importance to treat and restore the problem.
Hair thinning process is so gradual that even the person affected may not notice it straight away. In addition to this, s/he cannot compare its possible progress.
Early detection of the causes of hair loss is the key to select the appropriate therapeutic regimen and start addressing the problem immediately. Early detection can also protect the existing hair follicles so that to avoid further, possibly irreversible, hair loss.
Existing therapeutic schemes usually work synergistically (through the selection of a combination of treatments) and have the following objectives:
Cessation of hair loss
Stabilisation of hair thinning
Strengthening the hair follicles
Improvement of local microcirculation
Stimulation of hair growth
Coverage of the areas with hair thinning
To choose the appropriate treatment regimen, trichoscopy constitutes the key step. By using a hand-held polarized light dermatoscope it is possible to examine and record the number, density, quality and condition of the hair follicles, and make an accurate diagnosis. Once you determine the cause of hair loss, it is possible to establish a personalised treatment plan and the prognosis (chances of cure).
The course of treatment is analysed through trichoscopy, which is not only a diagnostic tool, but also the most objective indicator for monitoring the results. The number, quality and thickness of hairs are examined and evaluated, so as to specify the frequency of treatment sessions and the dose that should be used. All digital pictures taken during the examination are saved and they constitute a benchmark for the comparison of the scalp’s condition before, during, and after treatment.

Sclerotherapy treatment.
What conditions does sclerotherapy treat? Sclerotherapy being performed on varicose veins in foot. Sclerotherapy may help to reduce the appearance and symptoms of varicose veins. Sclerotherapy is most often used to treat varicose veins. Varicose veins are also known as chronic venous insufficiency.
Varicose veins occur when the veins swell and bulge, usually in the legs. This is due to weak vein walls that, in turn, weaken the vein valves. As a result, blood pools up the veins, causing them to swell and look different.
Varicose veins may be painful and can cause skin issues, including rashes. By shrinking the veins, sclerotherapy reduces the effects of vein damage, making varicose veins less visible and less painful.
Sclerotherapy is also used to treat some other conditions, including:
Malformed lymph vessels. These are vessels that carry lymphatic fluid or lymph, which helps the immune system fight infections. Hemorrhoids. Sclerotherapy may be used when other treatments fail. Hemorrhoids occur when blood vessels, surrounding the rectum, swell and become irritated, causing pain and making bowel movements uncomfortable.
When to consider sclerotherapy
Not everyone who has spider veins or another condition that can be treated with sclerotherapy needs to have the procedure. People should discuss their symptoms and treatment options with their doctor to decide if it is necessary.
Other treatments may be more affordable and less invasive. Hemorrhoids, for example, often respond well to nonprescription treatments. This can include lifestyle changes, such as eating more fiber and not straining when having a bowel movement.
People with spider veins should consider sclerotherapy when:
the veins are painful
the legs are sore or feel heavy
the skin on the legs or feet is patchy or dry
there is a rash near the veins

Anti-wrinkle injections using Botulinum Toxin Type A (Botox) is the most popular treatment in the UK.
This is a quick, safe and simple procedure involving muscle relaxing injections. It can be used to smooth
out those lines and wrinkles on the frown between the eye brows, forehead lines, crows feet,
bunny lines, as well as many other lower face areas giving you a more relaxed and youthful appearance .
It is also used in the treatment for Hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating). Botox is a prescription only
medicine and should be considered a medical procedure and carried out by a qualified medical
professional. All clients need to be assessed by a medical professional
prior to treatments
Whenever you laugh, frown, concentrate or squint, your facial muscles
contract and your skin creases. As you get older your skin loses its elasticity and those creases deepen into
lines that become permanently etched on your face. Frown lines between your eyes can become particularly
noticeable at a relatively young age, making you look angry, worried or stressed even when you’re not.
By injecting tiny amounts of Botox® very precisely into specific facial muscles, the nerve impulses
responsible for contraction of these muscles are blocked. This causes a temporary weakness or paralysis
of that muscle resulting in the overlying skin becoming smooth and unwrinkled
The skin appears dramatically smoother
Facial lines disappear or diminish dramatically in just a few days
The creation of more wrinkles is prevented
Normal activities can be resumed immediately
It only takes 2-3 days for the injections to begin to take effect and 2-3 weeks for full effect.
Frown lines between the brows
Horizontal forehead lines
Crow’s feet around the eyes
Bunny lines on the nose
Lip area and corners of the mouth usually in conjunction with Dermal Fillers
The procedure only takes about 10 to 15 minutes.
The area to be treated is marked out on your skin and, then using an extremely fine needle, the product
is administered. Most people liken the sensation to having a hair plucked out. A full consultation and pre wrinkle
treatment photographs are always taken.
Your skin may be slightly red around the Botox
treated area immediately after the procedure and, occasionally, slight bruising can occur but can generally be
camouflaged with make-up the day after.
You will be given full post Botox treatment instructions to follow. It is especially important that, for four to six hours after treatment,
you do not rub or massage the area, that you avoid strenuous exercise, hot baths, showers or saunas,
do not lie flat and avoid alcohol.
Results may be noticeable within days but it often takes 2-3 weeks
for the maximum results to be seen.
The effects vary greatly from person to person but
generally last about months 3-4 months
You can resume normal activities, drive yourself home or return to work
immediately after the treatment. Exercise should be avoided for 24 hours after the treatment, and the area
should not be massaged for 24 hours. It is safe to fly after the treatment although we generally recommend
that you wait 48 hours before flying long haul.
Anti wrinkle injections is best at treating
dynamic facial lines i.e. those caused by facial muscular activity. This treatment does not improve
wrinkles due to ageing and sun-damage which are unrelated to facial muscle activity.
Facial muscles that are larger (such as in men) or which are used by facially ‘expressive’ clients
may require more frequent treatments. After several treatments the effects may last longer.

While anti wrinkle injections has been safely used by millions of patients,
it is recommended that pregnant or breast feeding women or patients suffering
from severe neuromuscular disorders, Bell’s palsy or blood coagulation disorders,
we do not recommend you have this treatment.
Drug interactions can occur when anti wrinkle injections such as botox are used concomitantly
with other medications. You must ensure that your practitioner is aware of any medications you are taking,
especially aminoglycoside antibiotics (gentamicin, neomycin), aspirin, anti-inflammatories,
Gingko Biloba and St John’s Wort.
Botox® has been used for over 20 years to treat facial wrinkles
and its safety and efficacy has been shown in many clinical trials. In addition there have been no long term side
effects reported from the use of Botox®. However, whilst uncommon, temporary adverse effects may arise from
the treatment. Occasionally a small bruise may occur at the injection site – this can be covered with make-up.
In very rare circumstances patients may experience heaviness or descent of the eyebrow or eyelid which may
last a few weeks. Prior to your treatment the doctor will assess your risk of this event and therefore adjust your
treatment accordingly.
Unfortunately, Botox® treatment from one clinic may not be exactly what you get at another.
Even though Botulinum Toxin A (Botox®,Azzalure, Bocouture etc botox is a single patient use
and all practitioners pay the same so always remember there is reasons why some treatments
are cheaper than others so practitioners who follow the law cannot do at these cut prices.
Small area of redness at treatment site lasting 2-3 hours (common)
Bruising / swelling of treatment area (less common)
Dull heavy sensation +/- occasional headache (less common)
Ptosis (droop) of eyebrow or eyelid (rare)
DO gently exercise the treatment areas by frowning, smiling, squinting and lifting the
eyebrows occasionally this will optimise your result
DO NOT rub or massage the treatment areas – this may increase the risk of complications by spreading the product.
AVOID alcohol, aspirin and ibuprofen for 24 hours which can increase the risk of bruising and swelling
AVOID lying flat or bending down excessively
AVOID very strenuous physical activity

Dermal filler is a gel made from hyaluronic acid – a naturally occurring sugar that we all have. To resolve nuisance wrinkles, it’s injected beneath the surface to plump up surrounding tissue.
UniSkin only use the best products available on the market. We're big believers in the quality and results gained from the Juvederm range. For cheek enhancement, we use the longer-lasting Juvederm Voluma which can last up to 24 months.
Treatment in the cheeks using Juvederm Voluma can last up to 24 months. It's important to bear in mind however that your lifestyle, the amount of correction required, and differing skin types will all have an impact on the amount of time you get out of your treatment.
Typically 45-60 minutes will be required to complete your procedure. Each treatment includes a full consultation to ensure we understand the look you're trying to achieve.
The great thing about treatment with dermal fillers is that the results are instant. It's important to note though that your skin will settle over the following few days by which time the final result can be seen.
Our Clinicians will always provide a consultation before treatment, but – like with our Botox treatments – you can usually have the treatment during the same appointment. Consultations are absolutely important to us and understanding exactly what you want to achieve.
Our recommended dermal filler, Juvederm Voluma, has a in-built anaesthetic called lidocaine which enhances comfort. In addition though we apply an anaesthetic cream to really help make your treatment as comfortable as possible.
No. The Juvederm dermal fillers we use take on the characteristics of the body’s own tissue so you shouldn't feel the dermal filler once it's in place. The product is similar to a smooth gel which is injected below the skin.

Yes. Only 1 in 20,000 treatments result in an allergic reaction. Although dermal fillers can be reversed using another injection, this requirement is extremely rare.
There is no recovery time with dermal fillers, so you can immediately resume normal daily activities. As with Botox, customers should avoid excessive alcohol, exercise or sun for the first 24 hours.
The gel is broken down naturally and reabsorbed by the skin. This means that over time your results will slowly fade and you'll return back for additional treatment to maintain your look.
No. Your cheeks will simply return to how it was before you began dermal filler treatment.
Most possible side effects are related to the action of injecting the skin, not the product itself. These include: redness, minor swelling, itching, tenderness around injection site and potential lumps in the treated area. These can be reduced by massage.
If you are prone to cold sores, there is a small chance that one will occur following a lip enhancement. In very rare instances (1 in 15,000) blood supply from the smallest vessels can be disrupted causing scab formation and, in some cases, scarring. We are highly trained in how to deal with side effects to ensure you get the best from your treatment.
Although there's no specific studies which show it's dangerous to use dermal fillers with pregnant or breast-feeding mothers, we take a cautionary stance and don't carry out treatment until you've completed breast-feeding your baby.

The Dermaroller is a multipurpose skin rejuvenation device which naturally stimulates collagen and
elastin production in the skin. It is used for thetreatment of fine lines and wrinkles,
hyperpigmentation, enlarged pores, cellulite and stretch marks and skin rejuvenation.
The Dermaroller can noticeably rejuvenate the appearance of your skin improving fine lines wrinkles,
old scars or sun damage, it can assist with the absorption of other topical products for skin rejuvenation.
The Dermaroller treatment is suitable for all skin types and does not result in skin sensitivity to UV light.
The Dermaroller is precision-engineered from titanium and features 192 surgical steel
micro-needles which, when rolled across the dermis (skin), creates pin-point punctures.
These tiny puncture wounds are perceived by the body as damage, beginning the onset
of the natural healing process and stimulating the release of growth factors that trigger
the production of collagen and elastin. By having a number of skin needling sessions
with the Dermaroller, new collagen and elastin are produced progressively, gradually
filling indented scars and deep lines.
A local anesthetic cream is applied 30 minutes prior to treatment while your consent form is completed.
The ‘roller’ is then applied all over the treatable area – this takes about 20 minutes.
Side effects of Dermaroller treatments are minimal but may include post treatment redness.
Your skin may feel a little tight or sensitive for up to 24 to 48 hours following the procedure.
You can return to normal activities. The use of an appropriate SPF and skincare as recommended.
You will typically be able to see noticeable results six-eight weeks after your treatment.
We recommend a course of three treatments with a break of six – eight weeks between
each session. This allows for new cell reproduction, collagen and elastin stimulation
and general skin healing.
The treatment results typically last for 6 months- up to a year.

Look 10 years younger without going under surgery
try the 8-point fillers facelift promising to rejuvenate skin in just 30 minutes - with impressive results
The 8-Point Facelift has hailed as the ultimate solution to loss of facial volume without the need for surgery.
It involves injecting filler into strategic points and promises a better effect in just 30 minutes,
for a tenth of the price of the full procedure.
One treatment promises results for 12-18 months, but touch-ups are required every few months to maintain them.
This is because gradually the body breaks down the injected Hyaluronic acid-based fillers.
Fillers are injected into around eight strategic lifting points in the face - the cheek, tear trough,
lines (running downwards from the corners of the mouth).
These are a general guideline, but the actual number of areas and amounts of filler used are
tailored to individual needs. A personalised consultation is necessary to determine this,
and the treatment takes around 30-50 minutes.
With no scars or tell-tale signs you've had anything done, the procedure is much less invasive
and more subtle compared to a surgical facelift. Yet it can make you look more refreshed.
The cost begins at £980 for up to 3ml syringes of dermal filler, and can go up to £1,300 if combined with other anti-aging muscle relaxing treatments for lines and wrinkles, such as Botox in multiple areas.
